A youth from Angamuwa, Alupotha Road, was admitted to Homagama Base Hospital after allegedly being assaulted near Galagedara Junction in Padukka over a motorcycle parked in front of a house gate, Lankadeepa reported. The Homagama Senior Superintendent of Police's office said it had received a complaint, and the youth alleged that two men in civilian clothing who arrived in a police three-wheeler tried to take him and the motorcycle to Padukka Police before assaulting him when he objected.lankadeepa
