A 29-year-old woman from Bimpokuna in the Aralaganwila Police Division died after allegedly being assaulted by her husband following a domestic dispute. Police said she was admitted to Aralaganwila Hospital in critical condition after the incident on July 3 and later succumbed to her injuries. Investigators are searching for the suspect, who is believed to be the victim’s husband.
