Police to take legal action against pedestrians using headphones while walking

Sri Lanka Police said legal action will be taken in future against pedestrians who walk on roads while listening to music using headphones or earphones.

SSP Manoj Ranagala said the measure is linked to road-safety concerns, noting that more than 10 people die daily in road accidents and that pedestrians and cyclists are among the most affected groups.onlanka +1
