Prime Minister Dr. Harini Amarasuriya met the Chairperson and Commissioners of the Independent National Women’s Commission at Temple Trees on Friday. The delegation briefed her on progress under the Women’s Empowerment Act, No. 37 of 2024, and the Prime Minister commended the Commission’s work to advance women’s rights, gender equality and empowerment in Sri Lanka.
