Minister Bimal Rathnayake said the government will next focus on accelerating development in infrastructure, education and other sectors after first prioritising economic, law-and-order and social stability. He said a Metro Bus service has been introduced and 800 more SLTB buses will be added, while future plans include expressway expansion, new medical faculties and housing projects. Rathnayake said funding is not the main obstacle, pointing instead to outdated administrative procedures and a shortage of technical experts, which he said should be addressed within three years.dailymirror +1
