Colombo Chief Magistrate Asanga Bodaragama ordered former Navy Commander Admiral of the Fleet Wasantha Karannagoda released on bail after he was produced in court. Karannagoda is accused over alleged corruption connected to the 2006 recruitment of Yoshitha Rajapaksa to the Sri Lanka Navy and his training in the United Kingdom at state expense.
