The National Water Supply and Drainage Board announced a 12-hour water cut from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. on July 4 for Colombo 01 to 15 and several surrounding areas. The interruption is linked to essential maintenance at the Mulleriyawa Grid Substation affecting the Ambatale Water Treatment Plant, with additional upgrade work at Dehiwala and Maligawatte pumping stations.
