Tri-forces launch dengue prevention programme in Western Province

Sri Lanka’s tri-forces began a special dengue prevention programme in the Western Province on July 4 as part of the national effort to control the disease.

The Defence Ministry said the work will include cleaning campaigns, destroying mosquito breeding sites, clearing drains and community awareness activities under the supervision of the Defence Secretary.english +3
