Sri Lanka dengue cases surpass 58,000, deaths rise to 39

The Health Ministry said Sri Lanka has recorded 58,810 dengue cases so far in 2026, including 3,422 infections in the first three days of July.

Dengue-related deaths have risen to 39, while Colombo and Gampaha account for more than 40% of reported infections.english +2
