A special dengue prevention operation will begin on July 5 across 22 high-risk zones in the Western Province after a discussion at the Clean Sri Lanka Secretariat. The programme will involve health officials, the tri-forces, police, district and divisional secretariats, local government bodies and community volunteers to identify mosquito breeding sites and improve public awareness.
