The Public Health Inspectors' Union says legal action has been taken against nearly 7,500 people found maintaining mosquito breeding sites since the start of the island-wide dengue epidemic. Acting Chairman Upul Rohana said inspections of homes, institutions and other premises will continue, and offenders will be taken to court without advance warning as authorities try to curb the outbreak.
