Health Minister Nalinda Jayatissa said the government is considering WHO-approved dengue vaccines and the Wolbachia mosquito-control method as part of its response to rising dengue cases. He said 52.5 percent of this year’s cases are from the Western Province, while a special control programme is targeting 23 high-risk MOH divisions.
