The Department of Examinations has opened applications for the 2026 GCE Ordinary Level Examination, with online submissions accepted from July 3 to July 23. Commissioner General of Examinations A.K.S. Indika Kumari Liyanage said school candidates must apply through their principals, while private candidates must submit individual applications using their National Identity Card, or a guardian’s NIC if they do not have one. The department said applications will close at midnight on July 23 and the deadline will not be extended.dailymirror
