Major Finance Company ordered to wind up by CBSL
The Central Bank of Sri Lanka cancelled the finance business licence of Nation Lanka Finance PLC and said it will proceed with winding up the company.
The Central Bank of Sri Lanka cancelled the finance business licence of Nation Lanka Finance PLC and said it will proceed with winding up the company. CBSL said repeated efforts to revive the company had failed and that insured depositors will be compensated up to Rs. 1.1 million per depositor under the Sri Lanka Deposit Insurance Scheme.
