The final shipment of turbines for the 50 MW HayWind Wind Power Plant under construction in Mannar has arrived at the Port of Trincomalee, the Ministry of Energy said. The ministry said the project has secured a power purchase agreement at US$0.0465 per unit and is scheduled for completion by March 2027, adding 50 MW to the national grid.ft +1
