The Central Bank of Sri Lanka has extended the suspension of Perpetual Treasuries Limited from carrying out the business and activities of a Primary Dealer for a further six months. Hiru News reported that the extension takes effect from 4.30 p.m. on July 5, 2026, under regulations issued through the Registered Stock and Securities Ordinance and the Local Treasury Bills Ordinance. CBSL said the extension is intended to allow investigations into PTL to continue.
