The Central Bank of Sri Lanka has extended the suspension of Perpetual Treasuries Limited from acting as a primary dealer for another six months, effective from 4:30 p.m. on July 5, 2026. CBSL said the extension was made under securities and treasury bill regulations so investigations into the company can continue. Perpetual Treasuries has remained under repeated suspension following the Central Bank bond scandal investigations.
